How to get your client to sign a quote online
A quote accepted in writing avoids misunderstandings about price, deadlines and the scope of the work. And if the client signs it from their phone in a minute, you close the deal sooner and without paperwork.
In 30 seconds
- The client accepts and signs the quote on their phone, without printing or scanning.
- The record shows who accepted, when and which version.
- Under Spanish law, contracts are formed by consent (Código Civil, art. 1258): the signed acceptance is your proof.
Step by step
- Save your quote as a PDF, from your invoicing software, Word or Excel.
- Upload it at Sign for free and choose “Someone else”.
- Tap “Signature” and drag it next to “Accepted by the client”. If you like, add “Name”, “DNI/CIF” and “Date”.
- Enter their name and email, or their mobile number to send it by WhatsApp.
- Once they sign, you receive the signed PDF with a record: date, time and details of who accepted.
