  • The template includes the destination, dates, transport, staff in charge and a contact phone number.
  • If the trip leaves Spain, the child also needs the official travel permit from the Policía or the Guardia Civil.
  • Photos from the trip for the website or the school magazine need separate consent, according to the AEPD (Spanish Data Protection Agency).

What a school trip permission form should include

  • Details of the school and the activity: destination, date, departure and return times, means of transport.
  • The pupil's name and year group.
  • Name and DNI of the person giving permission (father, mother or legal guardian).
  • The cost, if any, and how to pay.
  • A contact phone number during the outing.
  • Data protection information and, if photos will be taken, information on how images will be used.
  • Date and signature.

If the parents are separated

When the outing involves important decisions, or if the school's rules say so, the sensible thing is to ask both parents for permission. With MultiDocs you add both people to the same document: each one gets their own link and signs from home, and the school can see who has signed and who hasn't.

How to get families to sign it from their phone

  1. Upload the PDF at Sign for free and choose “Someone else”.
  2. Mark where the signature goes and add boxes for the name, DNI and phone number so the family can fill them in.
  3. Enter the family's email and send it. Once they sign, you'll receive the completed, signed document.

To send it to a whole class at once, with automatic reminders to anyone who hasn't signed, use MultiDocs for schools.
